We’re very pleased to announce that Texas Community Builders, a subsidiary of BCL of Texas (a CDFI), has agreed to be our fiscal agent in an application for an $80,000 Impact Austin grant this year! We couldn’t be more thrilled! An experienced, well-established, and successful group, their support will significantly help us with the track record we lack in applying for funding.

Please watch for another announcement from us soon about a small but very important grant award we anticipate receiving this spring related to our activities of last year!

Carol will again this year participate as a member of the Affordable Housing Committee of the Texas CDFI (Community Development Finance Institution) Coalition.

Carol will also be attending an Age-Friendly Austin Housing Work Group meeting later this month.

As you can see, we’re looking forward to a very active year ahead as we officially begin implementing Phase 1 of our development project!
